Here’s what you can expect when you join our team:
Clear Growth and Development:
From reception, to assistant, to stylist, we offer structured mentorship, support, and ongoing education to help you reach your goals. We have regular scheduled one-on-one meetings to stay on track, stay updated, and revisit the dream you imagined. We have regular paid team meetings once a month so the whole team is supporting each other. You will get two reviews every year, with many mini -meetings if you need help to stay on track.
Competitive Compensation:
Commission-based pay so fairly compensated, which is how we retain amazing, experienced stylists. We don’t max you out or put a cap on what commission you can earn here. Everyone begins at 40%, then with our unique for-profit sliding scale and compensation method tailored just for this salon, any stylist can take home over 60%+. The salon will always be working on making your actual working days easier by providing assistants, support, and reception so you can get to work when you need to.
Lifestyle: Flexible schedules that really fit your lifestyle. We encourage vacation time, family time, and especially mental health days so we aren’t ever missing out on what’s really important to us. Most of our stylists only work part time and still exceed goals. Without having the weight of doing everything yourself the quality of life as a stylist is so much more rewarding and appealing, and you have time to enjoy it.
Desirable Salon Environment: Green, clean, and inviting. Walk through our beautiful French doors and into an intriguing room full of smiles, fun products and boutique must haves. There is ample parking for your guests, two bathrooms, and your receptionist is waiting to assist them. All appliances, chairs, and machines are top notch, in working order, and support our green carbon free salon lifestyle. We use eco-heads for water, and recycle everything from the foil to the hair. Enjoy our outdoor rooftop ocean view patio for breaks, lunch, or yoga.
Traditional Benefits: A fantastic online booking system for you and your clients available 24/7 where we host a 5-star rating with hundreds of reviews. Water, Espresso, Organic Tea, Beer, Wine, and all kinds of seasonal snacks for you and your guests. Time off when requested, just ask. 10% product sales commission, 10% from boutique sales too. Two computers and a full time receptionist who assists with guest appointment services and their 100% satisfaction, rebooking, and sales. Storage that locks for personal items, in a breakroom with a door you can shut.
Client Growth Support:
We invest strong in marketing, referrals, and walk-in opportunities to help you build your clientele. We schedule high end photo shoots all year long, so the brand is staying current. All of our important social pages including Instagram, Facebook, NextDoor, Yelp, etc. are active and updated daily. Our google reviews are massive and we host a 4.8/9 average on the ranking page. A beautiful user-friendly website where the SEO optimization is constantly updated, giving us the most possible traffic, and all responses on any page are prompt on your behalf. Student Internship: Hands-on experience in a professional, upbeat setting. The first step to begin a chance for this position is to book an Internship Opportunity appointment. You’ll be given a phone call at the time you choose from our CEO Nicci, where we begin to hear your goals as a future stylist and what a successful internship would feel like to you. Then if our missions align, we will book you for an internal interview and give you a tour and get your school enrollment information. You can book that appointment here.
Assistant Stylist: Work side-by-side with our senior stylists while building skills and confidence. This is for licensed cosmetologists only. The assistants spend paid hours at the reception desk on a set schedule at minimum wage. They spend hours assisting our educators on site, and our experienced stylists of atleast 3 years. They earn days behind the chair by demand, and availability on either an hourly or a commission rate of 40% starting for the first 90 days. You will be invited to exclusive mentoring and education weekly with Nicci and begin your 90 day program. You start with a “Join Our Team” appointment, where we hear about your vision for your future and see if our missions align, then a job shadow day will be scheduled. Stylist: A dedicated chair, growing clientele, and advanced education to refine your artistry. This position is for licensed cosmetologists only. This is a commission salon where we start pay at 40% no matter the experience for the first 90 days, then pay a sliding scale up to 60% or even more depending on your KPI reports.
